Here’s a summery shirt I wore the other day. It’s a simple tie button up with a polka dot and daisy print, and it was only $7 from H&M. I’m really loving these lightweight button up tops for the summer, especially the shorts sleeves cuffed blouses I’ve been seeing everywhere. You can wear them casually with ripped denim shorts or dress it up with a pair of low rise trousers.
Today’s outfit is a shirt I got from H&M for $9.99, but I ended up cutting it into a crop top for the summer. I also wore my high-waisted shorts from Marshalls, which were $12.99. I really liked the play on textures with the lace and stripes.
Here’s a link to another article I’ve written for SRtrends. It’s a great college website, so check it out!
Black Tank Top from Old Navy: $5.00
Live 4 Truth Printed Pant: $10.99
I love these pants. I didn’t know how I would feel about the sheer panels, but when I tried them on, it looked really modern and fun.
Overalls from Target: $8.95
Forever 21 Tank Top: $1.90
This whole outfit cost about ten dollars, which is crazy. I’ve been loving the overall trend. It’s so summery, and playful. It also looked really cute with a simple tank.

Old Navy High Neckline Tank Top: $5.00
H&M Green and Black Printed Trousers: $5.00
Lower East Side Floral Printed Flats: $16.99
I really like the basics they have at Old Navy, and I found this sheath neckline tank for $5.00. I also played around with color by mixing floral print and green leopard print.

-Blue and Orange Printed Shorts by Bebop
I thought this was a nice, simple outfit for the summer. These shorts are really comfy but can still make an outfit look put together. I also liked the print on my gray tank and it made for a nice tribal feel to the outfit.
