Oscars Best Dressed 2017

Emma Stone’s dress was my favorite by far. I love that she went with a classic fit with an intricate design and fringe. Her whole look is very Hollywood Glamour with her refined curls and simple red lip, which is appropriate for her movie “La La Land.”

I love how luxurious this dress was. I love how the classic top was made more whimsical with a feathered skirt with embellishment.

Brie Larson looked amazing in this sculptural look. If this was in another color, it could’ve been a nightmare on the red carpet. But the black color and minimal styling makes for a very chic look.

I love this dress on Hailee Steinfeld. The floral print and chiffon material made for an ethereal feel, which was a nice change for an Oscars look. I also like that she opted for an updo. Some people might not like the dress, but I think she pulled it off well.

Olivia Culpo looked amazing in this fringed dress. Her purple eye makeup make it more modern look overall, and it was a nice little surprise to the Hollywood feel. I love the little black ribbon that ties the look together.

Style Icon: Lupita Nyong’o

It was so hard to narrow down my top ten favorite looks from Lupita Nyong’o. I just think she has such a glow to all of her looks. I remember seeing her Golden Globe look last year for the first time. Her red caped dress was just a glimpse of what was to come!

Oscars 2015: My Favorite Looks

Here were my favorite looks from the Oscars last night. My two favorites were Emma Stone and Rosamund Pike. I also included some of my other favorite looks along with some thoughts!

Rosamund Pike
Rosamund Pike wore a red laced Givenchy gown. This was my favorite look of the night! The slit was strategically placed to show off matching shoes. Her styling and makeup gave her a glowing feel. I’ve been a little disappointed with her looks this award season, but her Oscar dress made up for it.
Lupita Nyong'o
Lupita Nyong’o looked amazing in her Calvin Klein gown. There were more than 6,000 pearls that went into that dress. The color popped really well with her complexion. I know some people weren’t crazy about the cutout but I liked the interesting construction of the entire dress.
Emma Stone
Emma Stone surprised in a very Hollywood glamour look. I love the olive color against her skin and the orange lipstick and hair style pulled the look together well. I also love the neckline and sleeves of her Elie Saab dress.
Actress Jennifer Aniston attends the 87th Annual Academy Awards at Hollywood & Highland Center on February 22, 2015 in Hollywood, California.
Jennifer Aniston looked effortless in her Versace gown. The blush color of her gown sparkled and accentuated her figure in all the right places. The natural hair and makeup also gives off an easygoing, relaxed vibe.
Jennifer Hudson
Jennifer Hudson‘s Romona Keveza gown is really flattering on the 33-year old singer. I’m crazy about the honey color, and the minimal styling showcases a sleek, clean dress.
Naomi Watts
Naomi Watts went for a black and silver Armani dress. She looked super modern with the thin straps and bandeau. Her loose waves also added an edgy vibe. She always looks glamorous with an edge. Remember her snake necklace?
Margot Robbie
Margot Robbie looked very edgy in her plunging Saint Laurent dress. The sheer sleeves, edgy hair and bright lip made her look very refined and edgy at the same time. Her necklace also stood out, which was designed by Van Cleef & Arpels.

How to Train Your Dragon: Toothless Bag

In case you haven’t heard, How to Train Your Dragon 2 is the current front-runner to win the Oscar for Best Animated Film! I loved the movie so much and thought it was just as good as the first movie! In honor of the movie, I thought I’d share this adorable bag of our favorite dragon, Toothless. It’s by Fendi and my friend Megan showed me the photo through the upmarket department store Harrods‘ Instagram account! The bag is very representative of the movie without going full out animated and crazy. Love the simplicity!

Also, bravo to Fendi for being versatile and using a zipper as his mouth!
