#LoveLulus Deals and Steals Under $50

When I was in middle school, I remember buying this gorgeous bright purple bag to carry my books in. I remember getting so many compliments and wearing that bag out until it was all ripped up. There was a little key chain on the side that read Lulus and I told myself to check this brand out.

Years later, and it is still to this day one of my favorite brands to buy from. Lulus has one of my favorite Instagram feeds too. Here are some of my favorite pieces in their stores right now. And they are all under $50.I’m loving that mules are coming back into fashion and this color combination is one of my favorites! These shoes are not everyone’s cup of tea in terms of style, but I love how quirky it fits with my own personal style.

All I want for the summer is a pair of gingham print shorts or trousers to wear with graphic t-shirts. I love the print and think it’s a more modern twist to when plaid was really in style a few years ago.

This two piece set is only $28, so hurry before it’s out of stock because this is definitely a deal for a two piece set. I’m loving jumpsuits, skirts and rompers this season, and I’m really feeling stripes and floral print right now for everything.

Paperbag pants are really trendy right now. They come in all sorts of styles such as straight legged trousers, flared pants, or lightweight bell bottoms. It’s such a flattering pant for people with tiny waists and long legs like myself, which is why I’m loving these ones.

Throwback Thursday

IMG_4215.jpg

Here’s a little throwback picture from my trip to Jamaica over the summer. I definitely miss this type of weather right now.

The dress I’m wearing is from Old Navy, and it was on sale for $15. The dress is a light cotton halter maxi, so it was perfect for beach weather.

Hope everyone is having a good week so far. Cheers to the weekend.

Summer Finds Based on Your Style

I decided to do a summer style guide because there are so many different styles worn in the summer. From boho prints to sheer skirts, there are several pieces people should get based on their style.

If your style is…… Chic

Sheer Pantsuit: It’s flowy, simple and makes a bold statement. For a chic, soft look, wear with a long necklace, heels or flats.

If your style is…..Edgy

Distressed and Studded Shorts: Both trends are edgy and perfect on a pair of cutoffs. It would pair well with graphic tees and a moto jacket.

If your style is…..Preppy

Printed Collared Shirt: This shirt is girly and perfect for the summer weather. It would look extra preppy with high-waisted shorts, a statement necklace around the collar, or oxfords. Add a blazer for chilly weather.

If your style is……Boho

Tribal Pants: Boho style is perfect for the summer. These pants are light and fun, and pair well with loose tanks.

If your style is…..Minimalistic

Boxy Co-ords: Co-ords are also perfect for the summer. For a minimalist look, wear a solid, boxy mod style.

If your style is……Artsy

Patterned Midi Skirts: These midi skirts are in style now, and for an artsy feel, mix patterns and play with colors. I also like the brush stroke pattern.

If your style is….Sporty

Color Blocked Tops: Color blocking is perfect for those who want to stick with sporty styles.

If your style is….Glamorous

Embellished Crop Tops: Jeweled and embellished crop tops are perfect for a glamorous feel. It’s fun and stands out.

If your style is…..Romantic

Wrap Dress: A Grecian wrap dress is cute for a romantic outfit. Wear in soft colors like rose, white, cream and mint green.

If your style is……Flirty

Bright Maxi Skirts: Bright colors are great for maxi skirts. I love the sheer ones that have a lot of movement when you walk. It’ll certainly get attention.

If your style is…..Country

Fringe tops: Fringe in very in fashion, and I think it is worn in many different styles. However, if someone has a country feel, they should try a fringe top, bag or shoe.

This is just my opinion, and I hope you liked it!

My Trip to the Bahamas

I went to the Bahamas for vacation and loved the resort I stayed at called the Memories Resort in Freeport, Bahamas. The beach was so pretty, and the scenery was beautiful. I shared some pictures below. All of my pictures are from the resort and the beach nearby.

At night, my sister and I would change into nicer clothes for the evening, so I had a lot of fun with maxi dresses and different prints. Tomorrow I’ll post more about the clothes I wore during my vacation.

There was a sports bar right by the beach where people could get snacks and drinks. My family shared calamari, nachos, Canadian poutine and buffalo wings. Also, at the steakhouse, I ordered a petite filet steak with a Gorgonzola butter on top and garlic roasted mashed potatoes. For dessert, I had a chocolate cake.

Spring Wish List

So I’ve decided to make a spring wishlist even though winter seems to linger (especially in Plattsburgh). I found a lot of inspiration on Pinterest, so I decided to share the trends that I think will be popular this season. Also, I left the link of each piece if you want to take a closer look! Hope you like this post and follow me or comment below!

I absolutely love this. /// Fringe Scallop Tee

Fringe Tops: I really love fringe and think it is going to be big during the spring. I bought a similar top to the above photo  the other day. It’s really boho and playful, which is definitely different from my preppy style, but spring will a time for experimenting with more loose fun pieces like this one. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/552605816753638030/

Crimson Tribal Exuma Pants

Tribal Printed Loose Pant: I also love jumpsuits and maxi dresses, but I’m starting to love these flared out pants. I think they’re really easygoing and still fashionable. I would wear these with a cropped white tank top and a long necklace. With the spring weather, I’d even wear a chunky cardigan or long sleeved crop top in case of chillier weather. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/460563499369168872/

blue ombre maxi skirt. This is why I like dresses! Bubble necklace too!!

Bright/ Printed Maxi Skirts: I started wearing maxi dresses for the first time last year and love them now. I have yet to try wearing a maxi skirt, but I think they look really pretty with tank tops and chunky cropped sweaters. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/551339179358254032/

Boho/Gypsy...Handknit Mint Fringe Crop Top

Crochet Tanks: Again, I don’t have too many boho styled clothing, but I’m really warming up to the idea around this upcoming spring. I love this fabric and think it’s going to be very popular. I also love the fringe here too! For spring, I’d wear this with jeans and flats. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/327285097897114897/

want these shorts!!

Off the Shoulder Tops and Laced Shorts: These tops are so pretty. I really love this one on Pinterest because it looks great with loose waves. I also think the top would be great for multiple occasions. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/353040058266075490/

21 Wave-Friendly Bikinis For A Wardrobe Malfunction-Free Summer #refinery29 http://www.refinery29.com/wave-friendly-bikinis#slide2

Sporty Color- Blocked Swimsuits: Not sure if I should have saved this for my summer wishlist, but now is a good time to start bathing suit shopping. I really like the sportier ones because they tend to incorporate color blocking. I also want a nice color like this light blue. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/119345458852120433/

black and blue floral kimono, white v-neck crop top, light-washed distressed high-waisted shorts, gold necklace

Printed Kimono: This is super pretty with both jeans and shorts. I also think these kimonos look great with strappy dresses. The floral print is pretty, but I also like the tribal and fringed ones too. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/142637513174465286/

I want good red pumps someday. These are contenders.

Pointed Heels: These Valentino studded shoes are gorgeous. I love these pointed heels. I think they’re very in fashion. I’m not entirely sure if I’m going to get a pointed heel or pointed flat yet. I think the flats are more practical and the heels are just pretty to wear. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/563864815821945410/

tiffany blue sheinside top, tory burch carnation red york tote / purse, pbteen monogram necklace, kendra scott magenta rayne necklace - from luckydayblog

Loose Blouses and Long Necklaces: A lot of these pieces have been for casual occasions, but these loose minimalist shirts are good for work and going out. A high-waist pant or shorts would also look good with this top.  I also love these long necklaces with an edgy accent. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/313774299014060775/

Pretty Little Liar: Fashion

There were tons of fashion during the latest episode of Pretty Little Liars! Naturally, I go straight to PLL Closet on Tumblr to find the outfit details from the girl’s looks this week! Thanks PLL Closet! Here were the pieces I liked the most!

Karen Millen ‘Acid Wash Jersey T-Shirt’ – $64.95: I love a basic black shirt because I could wear it with anything! But the addition of the studs elevates the look and can still be worn with anything.

Reverse ‘Leopard-Print Chiffon Maxi Dress’ in Brown Multi – $49.99: To be honest, I’m not a fan of leopard print, but I really liked this overall look for Aria. Remember when Aria wore crazy neons? Well, sometimes she still does, but this look is more of a “understated” Aria. She still makes it unique by pairing the dress with a striped belt and clutch. I love mixing prints and give her an A+ for the look! I also like her how natural her hair looks.

Zara ‘Jacquard Jacket With Zips’ in Green – $79.99- I probably wouldn’t have worn a green jacket over the look above, but I still loved the jacket itself. The color is really pretty and the shape is super edgy!

BDG ‘Twig High-Rise Button-Fly Jeans’ in True Black – $19.99: Out of all the girls, I probably dress most like Spencer. That’s probably why her high waisted jeans were by far my favorite piece from the episode. And they aren’t super expensive which is refreshing!

Raquel Allegra ‘Pocket Tank’ in Army – no longer available: No longer available but it is a loose tank top that can be found elsewhere. I like a loose tank top and actually bought some over Christmas break because they were super cheap around the wintertime! I like this color on Emily too. She can really pull off the olive and plum tones well.
