OOTD: Florals & Footwear

Here, I am wearing an off the shoulder blouse by Japna. The fitted ones are really cute too with high waisted shorts and skirts, but if you’re more into flowy tops, then a simple pair of low rise shorts can balance out the outfit. Leggings or skinny jeans would also pair well with this shirt. These shorts are from H&M for $12.99.

I also love these sandals by Rouge Helium from Joyce Leslie. I think slides are a little too chunky for me, but these simple sandals have straps that are more fitted. Overall, this was a really casual summer outfit that’s probably more appropriate when the weather is a little cooler with the oversized sleeves from the top. Hope you enjoyed this quick post.

OOTD Summer Style

Here is my outfit from last Saturday. I wore a blue floral printed button down blouse from Marshall’s for $14.99. It had a cute little tie at the waist too for a more fitted casual look. I loved this color for the summer, and these matching tinted sunglasses from JCPenney were only $10.

For the summer season, I can be so lazy with my outfits because there is limited layering, but my goal is to really embrace the summer weather and go for more lightweight pieces like this top.

Spring Inspired Look

I’ve been patiently waiting for spring and cannot wait for the weather to get nicer. I had a formal event on Saturday, so I wore this striped romper. I didn’t get a descent photo of the entire outfit, but I wanted to share my love for these types of sleeved rompers. I bought this one from Marshall’s on sale for $12.00, and it was such a steal.

OOTD

I got this Roller Coster romper for $14.99 at Marshalls and I just really loved the fit. The way the front panels were sewn really flatters an hourglass figure, and the frills on the end add a very playful whimsical feel. The nude colored watch was from Rainbow and it was only $8.99 on sale. I love this one because it’s not too flashy to wear everyday.

Weekend Vacation Outfits

I went to Jennings Beach for a weekend vacation with my family. And I finally had some time to share some of the outfits I wore. Check them out!

This bathing suit is from Old Navy and the top was $5.00 and the bottoms were $8.00. I loved the different blues on the print of the top, and I really liked the criss cross straps in the back.FullSizeRender (1)

These sunglasses were $2.00 from Wet Seal. They were definitely a steal, and I love how retro they look.FullSizeRender (3)

Because of the straps and high neckline of this bathing suit, it was hard to find a cover up, but this long top from Old Navy was only $2.00 and it had a similar neckline so I picked it up. I really liked the lime color of this tank top.FullSizeRender

This was an outfit I wore the following day. The top is from H&M and was $5.00, and the shorts are from Marshall’s and were $12.99. I love this off the shoulder top, and thought it matched well with more high-waisted shorts.

So for today’s post, I’m blogging about the stationery that I purchased for school. These were all a steal with the highest priced item at only $6.00. All of these were from Target, TJ Maxx and Marshall’s, so check out their products. Also, The shirt I’m wearing is from Primark and was only 6 pounds.

I’m obsessed with stationery, and I love these Thank You cards. Right now, I’ve been really into metallic prints and these gold polka dotted cards are simple and cute. These were $3.99 from TJ Maxx.

This Target candle was only $3.00, and I really liked the scent. I like more simple scents, but this one is a nice mix of coconut and citrus, and it’s not overpowering either.

These pencils were $1.00 and they have the days of the week printed on them with the pink one simply saying “weekend” on them. I thought there were quirky and cheap. The cosmetic bag can also function as a pencil case and it was only $5.00 by Ashley Mary.

I got this simple notebook from Marshall’s, and it was $3.99. I loved the quote and color, and it’s the perfect size to carry around to jot down notes.FullSizeRender (11)

These were all $1.00 from Target. I like to clip my papers and notes in bunches, so these paper clips were an essential. The pens also had a fun design on them, so I picked those up as well.FullSizeRender (12)

I also use these file folders to organize my class notes and work papers so these were perfect because they came in a set of nine. They were $5.99 at Marshall’s and I loved the short sweet sayings written on them.

This little painted tray was $2.00, and it was super pretty. I thought this was great to throw jewelry on, or to put keys on. FullSizeRender (14)

Finally, I got these little portraits for $3.00, and I loved the inspirational sayings on them. The designs were also diverse with prints such as stripes, polka dots, flowers, and watercolor. I hope you liked this stationery haul. Please like and subscribe if you liked this post.

July Favorites

I’m currently loving my new products for my July Favorites post, and I’m going to be sharing some of the beauty essentials that I’m using right now. Also, the lace romper I’m wearing in the photo above is by Romeo + Juliet Couture, and it was $22.00.

I’m going to be doing a lipstick review sometime soon, but if I had to recommend a lipstick right now it would be the NYX butter lipsticks. For my skin tone, I’m drawn to more darker berry colors, and this one was a nice dark cherry color. It is called moonlit night and was $5.99 at Target.FullSizeRender (3)

I really love Wet n Wild products because they’re decently priced and very good quality. I’ve gotten two of their palettes and first of all, I love that they’re labeled. I also love the colors I got because they’re great for during the day too. My only complaint is that the brushes are a bit too small, but I also have my own brushes that I use. The small palette was $1.99  and the bigger palette was $5.99 at Rite Aid.FullSizeRender (7)

I’ve been looking for quality eyeshadow brushes because I’ve been really into experimenting with different shades lately. So I found these brushes at Marshalls by a brand called Polish’d and the quality is perfect for blending because the brush is thick enough for the lid and crease. Again, the labeling is great for beginners too. These were $3.99, and I’ve been looking for more online but can’t find it.FullSizeRender (6)

This Full Action Extreme Effect Mascara from Sephora is really great and was $12. It’s a nice combination of volume  and thickness without being too clumpy. The pencil is from elf, which I really like because it has a great black liner, but it also has a smokey shadow, which I apply to my lower lid. It was only $3.00,and elf is another brand that’s cheap but still quality.

I put this in my June Favorites, but at the time, I just really liked the smell. But after using it for a while now, I love how long-lasting this body cream is. When it comes to beauty products, I’m all for cheap inexpensive products, but this $7.00 cream is worth it.FullSizeRender (1)

I usually use dry shampoo by other brands, but this is one that I just wanted to try out. Now, I really love this brand because the smell in ten times better than most dry shampoos and my hair just feels cleaner when I use this product. It was $1.99 for a travel size bottle from Walmart.FullSizeRender (10)

For heat protectant spray, I usually use Tresemme, and it’s a great product, but this heat protecting spray leaves my hair feeling more shiny, and surprisingly more light. FullSizeRender (9)

When it comes to makeup bags, I go through them so quickly because my brushes get messy and my powders get all over the inside of the bag, These Ashley Mary makeup bags are perfect because I can store my brushes in one zipper, and my makeup in another zipper. After having this makeup bag for a few weeks, I’m way more organized and don’t spend time trying to find everything when I go to do my makeup. This was on sale at Target for $5.99 and it comes in so many beautiful patterns and prints.
