6 lockdown inspired winter outfits for 2021

Reality has hit. I’m most likely going to be starting 2021 in lockdown, and it’s not great by any means, but it’s not stopping me from finding some sort of 2021 inspiration to look forward to. I have been just staring at my unworn blazers, jeans and dresses for what seems like ages, and the three outfits I wear on rotation while working from home simply won’t do going into the new year. Instead, I am opting for some fashion inspo a little more attainable considering the circumstances we’re in. Here’s 6 looks I’ll be tweaking my wardrobe towards going into 2021:

I really love a good oversized cardigan. It’s appropriate for Zoom calls and meetings throughout the day and you can look way more put together than your pajama shirt/ bottom combo you’re usually sporting.
Probably won’t be sporting this while working from home, but I love these sweatshirt/ sweatpants co-ords. It’s hard to find comfy clothes that also make a really bold fashion statement but the tie dye elevates this otherwise plain sweat suit.
Mom jeans are my new favorite style. I love how they look with sweaters tucked in, particularly with warm turtlenecks for a nice balanced look. One of my goals for 2021 is to not look like such a bum on my work calls. It’s easy to roll out of bed and wear the usual, but I think dressing up (even if it’s at home) can maybe make a difference in productivity.
Another 2021 goal is to actually have a proper workout routine. With home workouts becoming the normal and gyms closing due to Covid-19, the motivation needs to be there. And what better way to motivate one’s lazy self when they purchase workout gear as pretty as this set.
In case you haven’t noticed, big fan of the oversized look. It’s stylish, comfy, and can be worn with some nice warm leggings or on its own if you’re looking for a slightly warmer night shirt. Love the simplicity here.
I have been hunting for a cropped teddy bear jacket. It’s the perfect jacket to throw over your shoulders if the house is cold, and alternatively, it can be worn with some layers when going for a walk or shop.

Christmas Wishlist

I have not blogged in ages because I’ve been  busy with school, but I decided to end the year with a handful of posts. I wanted to share a Christmas Wishlist with some of my favorite Pinterest finds. Here are some of my clothing and accessory finds that I’ll be looking for this season.

Red Batwing Long Sleeve Loose Knit Sweater:
Chunky Sweater – I have so many chunky knits, but I especially love the long baggy sweaters. They’re comfortable to wear with just leggings and converse, but they also work for dressier occasions with skirts or statement necklaces.

Laura McKittrick, The Greenwich Girl: a luxury lifestyle brand and digital magazine www.thegreenwichgirl.com:
Long Cardigan– When I first started seeing these long cardigans, I didn’t initially like them, but after seeing how people wear them, I want one. They’re great to wear over any outfit. I’ve also seen people wear them with skirts and dresses too.

Zoe Leather Look Leggings:
Leather Leggings– This is a trend I’ve wanted for a while. I didn’t really like leather until my mom bought me a burgundy pair of  leggings with leather panels on the sides. For the wintertime, these leggings would be great for playing around with textures.

ASOS Ribbed Cropped Turtleneck:
Crop Top– I love crop tops. The fit is great on my shape. However, for the winter, they’re not functional. These cropped ribbed sweaters are perfect because they’re warm, but still have a crop top fit.

Chunky watch with delicate bracelets.:
Watch– I’ve really wanted a nice watch for a while. I just haven’t found the right one. I love the over sized ones and think they look great with dainty layered bracelets.

12. Ombre - 12 Cute DIY IPhone Cases ... | All Women Stalk:
Phone Case– I need a new phone case. So far, I’ve gone through a couple cases, and they haven’t been anything special. On Amazon, they have so many designs and patterns to choose from.

Easy wallet pattern from a single fat quarter! By Dog Under My Desk:
Wallet– When I run errands, I like to carry a smaller bag, and it’s hard to find a wallet that’s small and still has the necessary compartments.

Hope you liked the list! If you liked any of the items from above, I left the link to each of the pins.

Pretty Little Liars : Fashion and Thoughts on the Premiere

On the season 6 premiere of Pretty Little Liars, we revisited some old fashion from the girls. I thought Aria’s was the most iconic, simply because of the pink streaks. The episode was scary throughout, and I personally loved the premiere. We didn’t get a ton of answers, but if the writers aren’t going to give us answers, they at least have me on the edge of my seat. I was afraid there wasn’t going to be any fashion when I saw them running in sheets, but luckily Charles had them wearing season 1 clothing. Their styles have all evolved, especially after seeing Emily in that sweat suit.

Thanks to PLL Closet for having the details on the clothing wore. Check out her blog, where she updates the latest PLL fashion. I left the link below.

Express ‘(Minus The) Leather Jacket’ – $128.00: This jacket would look really cute with a flirty fit and flare dress. Aria always dresses edgy, but her style has definitely evolved over the seasons. She used to wear much more wacky colors and patterns, but she has toned it down quite a bit with neutrals.

AG Adriano Goldschmied ‘Legging Ankle Jeans’ in Orange – $66.75: Hanna has had a more opposite effect from Aria. She used to wear girly blazers and skirts all the time. In season 5, I loved that she’d wear a romantic, soft look in one episode and a edgy, fun look in the next episode.

Brooks Brothers ‘Saxxon Wool Argyle Cardigan’ – no longer available: Spencer’s style has probably changed the least. Her style has always been preppy, and I could see her wearing this cardigan now. It has Spencer written all over it. I also loved the oxfords she wore with this outfit.
