I will be moving to London for my master’s degree in journalism, and I am so excited that this article I wrote got published on Thought Catalog. It’s the perfect little goodbye to my undergaduate studies and experiences. It’s a reflection on everything from friendship to academics to my own personal growth, so I’d love for people to give it a read. You can check it out here !

Today, I went for a more bohemian look and opted for this loose fitted feather printed tank top with a frill. It’s supposed to be very loose flowing, and I love that it’s like a more relaxed peplum top. The top was $6.99 from Old Navy. I’m also wearing ripped black jeans from Joyce Leslie, which were $20.00. My rose gold necklaces were also from Joyce Leslie for $2.00, which is a steal. I went for a top knot with the whole look and thought it pulled the outfit together nicely.

The Fosters Fashion

Here’s my latest review for The Fosters: https://mytrendingstories.com/article/the-fosters-review-justify/

Mariana’s blue lace top was super pretty and I love how soft the color looks on her. Callie wore a similar top to this earlier this season, but I really like how she wore her hair up this time.

July Favorites

I’m currently loving my new products for my July Favorites post, and I’m going to be sharing some of the beauty essentials that I’m using right now. Also, the lace romper I’m wearing in the photo above is by Romeo + Juliet Couture, and it was $22.00.

I’m going to be doing a lipstick review sometime soon, but if I had to recommend a lipstick right now it would be the NYX butter lipsticks. For my skin tone, I’m drawn to more darker berry colors, and this one was a nice dark cherry color. It is called moonlit night and was $5.99 at Target.FullSizeRender (3)

I really love Wet n Wild products because they’re decently priced and very good quality. I’ve gotten two of their palettes and first of all, I love that they’re labeled. I also love the colors I got because they’re great for during the day too. My only complaint is that the brushes are a bit too small, but I also have my own brushes that I use. The small palette was $1.99  and the bigger palette was $5.99 at Rite Aid.FullSizeRender (7)

I’ve been looking for quality eyeshadow brushes because I’ve been really into experimenting with different shades lately. So I found these brushes at Marshalls by a brand called Polish’d and the quality is perfect for blending because the brush is thick enough for the lid and crease. Again, the labeling is great for beginners too. These were $3.99, and I’ve been looking for more online but can’t find it.FullSizeRender (6)

This Full Action Extreme Effect Mascara from Sephora is really great and was $12. It’s a nice combination of volume  and thickness without being too clumpy. The pencil is from elf, which I really like because it has a great black liner, but it also has a smokey shadow, which I apply to my lower lid. It was only $3.00,and elf is another brand that’s cheap but still quality.

I put this in my June Favorites, but at the time, I just really liked the smell. But after using it for a while now, I love how long-lasting this body cream is. When it comes to beauty products, I’m all for cheap inexpensive products, but this $7.00 cream is worth it.FullSizeRender (1)

I usually use dry shampoo by other brands, but this is one that I just wanted to try out. Now, I really love this brand because the smell in ten times better than most dry shampoos and my hair just feels cleaner when I use this product. It was $1.99 for a travel size bottle from Walmart.FullSizeRender (10)

For heat protectant spray, I usually use Tresemme, and it’s a great product, but this heat protecting spray leaves my hair feeling more shiny, and surprisingly more light. FullSizeRender (9)

When it comes to makeup bags, I go through them so quickly because my brushes get messy and my powders get all over the inside of the bag, These Ashley Mary makeup bags are perfect because I can store my brushes in one zipper, and my makeup in another zipper. After having this makeup bag for a few weeks, I’m way more organized and don’t spend time trying to find everything when I go to do my makeup. This was on sale at Target for $5.99 and it comes in so many beautiful patterns and prints.
