Oscars Best Dressed 2017

Emma Stone’s dress was my favorite by far. I love that she went with a classic fit with an intricate design and fringe. Her whole look is very Hollywood Glamour with her refined curls and simple red lip, which is appropriate for her movie “La La Land.”

I love how luxurious this dress was. I love how the classic top was made more whimsical with a feathered skirt with embellishment.

Brie Larson looked amazing in this sculptural look. If this was in another color, it could’ve been a nightmare on the red carpet. But the black color and minimal styling makes for a very chic look.

I love this dress on Hailee Steinfeld. The floral print and chiffon material made for an ethereal feel, which was a nice change for an Oscars look. I also like that she opted for an updo. Some people might not like the dress, but I think she pulled it off well.

Olivia Culpo looked amazing in this fringed dress. Her purple eye makeup make it more modern look overall, and it was a nice little surprise to the Hollywood feel. I love the little black ribbon that ties the look together.

Best Dressed From 2017 SAG Awards

I loved these looks from the SAG awards. I liked a lot of blacks and embellishments on this particular award show.

Emma Stone was a huge winner last night, and I loved her dress. She’s been really embracing her whimsical La La Land film with quirky sort of gowns that are fun.
Amy Adams looked elegant and simple with this black form fitting gown, but my favorite part of her look is the bold necklace choice she made.
Michelle Williams looks gorgeous in this simple sequin dress. Gold and silver mixed together is a ballsy choice, but it works really well here with a minimalist fit.
Emily Blunt wore this vintage looking dress. This could’ve been a disaster with the wrong styling and fit, but her sleek hair and eye makeup makes the look feel modern.
I love how glamorous this look feels, and it still looks laid back. The red lip and tousled waves add to the relaxed vibe of her look.
This gold dress screams opulence from its fit to the pattern.
This was totally a bold choice with its color, but I personally liked how different it was in color choice.
Sofia killed it again, but instead of a form fitting dress, she opted for this feminine fit and flare dress with strappy shoes and a red lip to pop.

2017 Golden Globes Best Dressed

Here were some of my favorite looks from the 2017 Golden Globes. I loved so many looks this year but narrowed it down to the ones below. Let me know whose look was your favorite in the comments below!

I love Gina Rodriguez’s shimmery fringe. She looks fresh and fun with her hair swept to the side rather than being in an updo. It’s the perfect example of Hollywood glamour.
I love the embellishment of this dress with the strategic cutouts on the top bust. It’s super modern with a sleek ponytail to show off the glam of the dress.
I love seeing white on the red carpet.
Priyanka Chopra is one of my favorite style icon, and this was another hit. She makes it more casual and easygoing with a simple dark lip and minimal styling.
Some people might not love this look, but it’s totally different from the glitz and sequined gowns. I love how ethereal and romantic this gown was.

Elegant, embellished and a showstopper of a gown. It looks like it fits like a glove.
Millie Bobby Brown made my best dressed list because it’s easy for someone her age to want something crazy or colorful, but she opted for a very elegant dress instead.
This is definitely a statement piece. Some might hate it, but I love how it just screams couture. The lace detailing is super pretty and it’s another piece that breathes romance.

2016 SAG Awards Best Dressed

Here were my favorite looks from the SAG Awards last night.

This was my favorite look from the night. I’m obsessed with Alicia Vikander’s red carpet style. This Louis Vuitton dress is a showstopper. The geometric sequins work well with her sleek straight hair and simple earrings.
Laverne Cox looks stunning in this grecian red dress. The styling is flirty and romantic with simple waves a sequined clutch.
This green dress is gorgeous. It looks like it fits like a glove and I love how it hugs her curves perfectly. I also love that her hair looks like it’s swept back on one side.
Rachel McAdams looks elegant in this gown. The lace is really intricate especially on the torso. This is classic Elie Saab.
This is a super sleek, sexy dress but it’s elevated even more with the updo and drop earrings. Her strappy shoes also pair perfectly with the dress.
This is just a fun little pocketed dress. The bustier gives the dress a youthful feel.

Style Icon: Priyanka Chopra

I’ve been loving Priyanka Chopra’s red carpet looks this year, and she continues to look stunning in this blue Vionnet gown and Christian Louboutin shoes. Priyanka Chopra is also wearing Suzanne Kalan’s  18K Champagne Baguette Diamond Cuffs at the Elle Women in TV event. I love everything about this look. The dress is fun, flirty and her waves complete the look.

2016 Critic’s Choice Best Dressed

Here are my favorite looks from the Critic’s Choice Awards, and I’ve been loving some of the risks celebrities have been taking. Below are some of my favorites.

I love Alicia Vikander’s style during award season so far. She is wearing a beautifully beaded Mary Katrantzou gown. I  love how the beading has multiple dimensions to it. Her hair was swept back in a wispy updo and it was my favorite look of the night.
Rachel McAdams wowed in this dress to give off an effortless feel with simple waves and red lip.
I love how glam it feels on the bodice with the beading, and how whimsical it is on the skirt portion.
Emmy Rossum goes for a minimalist vibe, and I love it. The dress looks like it fits like a glove, and I really liked the twist of the sparkle peeking out.
This dress is another showstopper with peeks of skin in all the right places. Her hair and makeup was done to showcase the neckline.
There’s always one pantsuit that stands out during these award shows and this is one that I want to steal. I love the quirky jewels. It adds a glam, but fun feel.
Gina Rodriguez looks amazing in this peach color. The fit is great too.
Tracee Ellis Ross looks beautiful. I love how natural her makeup is with this black gown. Her earrings and sleeves are great pops of color.

2016 Golden Globes Best Dressed

Last night was the Golden Globes and here are my favorite looks from last night.

Brie Larson won for best actress last night, but she also won for best dressed in my book. The Calvin Klein dress was perfection. The top is so interesting, and her hair was styled perfectly with the dress to look sleek and modern.
I’m not a huge fan of tiered dresses, but Zendaya makes the look work. The Marchesa dress was fitted well on the top, and I loved how romantic her hair and earrings were with the dress.
Amy Adams looked really beautiful in this gorgeous blood orange dress. It’s effortless with its fit and fun with the beading.
There’s always one dress that screams grecian at award shows, and this is it. The fit is amazing, and I love how it looks like it was wrapped around so effortlessly with her pinned back hair.
It’s silver, sparkly  and fits like a glove. It passes all the criteria for a classic award winning look.
J-law wowed in her usual Dior dress. The cutouts on the side are modern and youthful. The necklace also added a glamorous feel to the overall look.
