Thoughts on the PLL Finale and Fashion

I really wanted to like the PLL Finale, but I didn’t. When Cece was revealed as Charles, I was hoping for some sort of shock. Instead, Cece and Sara being behind everything just didn’t sit well with me. Here are my thoughts on the episodes.

The Good:

The Fashion- The clothes were classic when the girls were saying goodbye. I loved Spencer’s overalls, and I recently bought a white pair from Target, so I liked seeing it paired with a baseball tee. Ali’s outfit was also boho and cute, and Aria’s dress was modern and fresh in the flash forward. *Pictures from WornOnTV

The Girl’s Goodbye– The show’s sentiment really is the friendship between the girls. It’s amazing how far they came as a team together. It was a sweet moment.

The Punch– Go Emily! Sara had it coming.

The Storytelling– Everything did fall into place, and I’m glad so many answers were given.

The Bad:

Cece is Charles– So the episode was pretty disappointing and I feel like the writers chose the wrong direction with A. In the past when Mona, Ezra, and Toby were A, I had somewhat of an emotional attachment to each of them. I don’t have that with Cece. Also, I wanted to be shocked, and to some extent, we knew Cece was not all good.

Sara is BOTH Red Coat and Black Widow– We just met Sara ten episodes ago, and I wanted characters from season 1 to surprise us. To me, it makes sense, but it seems like lazy writing to pin such crucial villains on Sara.

Wren wasn’t A?– It just sort of made sense. I saw theories on Youtube, and it made so much sense. And I still would’ve been surprised to see how the story went. And Melissa would’ve been a great Red Coat.

Pretty Little Liars Prom Dresses 6×09

It was prom night on Pretty Little Liars, and I was so excited to see the fashion. It definitely didn’t disappoint. Here are my thoughts on all the dresses.

Tarik Ediz ‘92578 Dress’ – $1,390.00

Ali’s dress is so gorgeous. I’m not huge on tulle, but I love the color with the lace overlay. I also think the gold belt finishes the look to be luxurious. I also really liked the bright red lip and Hollywood styled curls. Overall, this is one of my favorite looks from Ali on the entire show.

Walter Mendez ‘Nora Gown’ – $1,695.00

If I had to choose a prom dress, I would have a hard time choosing between Ali’s glam styled dress and Spencer’s sleek gown. I think I’d wear this dress though because I love the way it hugs Spencer so effortlessly. I like the high neck, the rich color, and I love her loose tresses with the dress.

Alice + Olivia ‘Kesten Fitted Cropped Top’ – $118.80 Alice + Olivia ‘Tina Long Ball Gown Skirt’ – $418.00

This is the cute dress Aria found and it “literally spoke to her.” It’s very Snow White, and I’m actually surprised that Hanna didn’t wear a crop top and long skirt,

Michael Costello ‘Fall 2015 Gown’ – not available online

Emily’s dress is another surprise. I like that they gave her a form fitting dress to wear and it almost has a menswear feel on the top with a suited bodice. I also like that she got to have a darker villainous outfit compared to the other girls’ glittery glam dresses.

Sherri Hill ‘Fall 2015 Gown’ – not available online

I really like the sleeves on the this dress. The gold embroidery has a royal vibe from it and the high low style allows her boots to show off. It definitely has a very powerful feel as well.

Overall, I liked all the dresses this year. This one is very memorable with a fairy tale theme as well.

Pretty Little Fashion: 6×02

Here is the fashion from Season 6 Episode 2 of Pretty Little Liars. The show had tons of fashion even though the girls were at their lowest point on the show. I felt so bad for them throughout the entire episode. Hopefully, we get answers next week! Below are some of my favorite pieces from last night.

Veronica Beard ‘Collared Button Back Stripe Sweater’ – $375.00: I  love Spencer’s preppy style. She always looks so polished, and I love her collar, sweater combo. It’s classic Spencer.
Gryphon ‘Chain Mesh Denim Jacket’ – no longer available: I really like this distressed jean jacket. It is perfect for Aria’s edgy style. The wash is also great for the spring and summer.
Club Monaco ‘Richi Jacket’ – $119.00: This was my favorite piece from tonight. This jacket is so chic. I love the rosy color, and the cut of the jacket. I would wear this with jeans and boots, but this fits Ali’s girly style when it was paired with a dress.
The Great ‘The Old West Tee’ in Washed Black – $115.00: This is another piece that is cute for the summer. I like that the loose tee was paired with a flannel tied to the waist.

Pretty Little Liars : Fashion and Thoughts on the Premiere

On the season 6 premiere of Pretty Little Liars, we revisited some old fashion from the girls. I thought Aria’s was the most iconic, simply because of the pink streaks. The episode was scary throughout, and I personally loved the premiere. We didn’t get a ton of answers, but if the writers aren’t going to give us answers, they at least have me on the edge of my seat. I was afraid there wasn’t going to be any fashion when I saw them running in sheets, but luckily Charles had them wearing season 1 clothing. Their styles have all evolved, especially after seeing Emily in that sweat suit.

Thanks to PLL Closet for having the details on the clothing wore. Check out her blog, where she updates the latest PLL fashion. I left the link below.

Express ‘(Minus The) Leather Jacket’ – $128.00: This jacket would look really cute with a flirty fit and flare dress. Aria always dresses edgy, but her style has definitely evolved over the seasons. She used to wear much more wacky colors and patterns, but she has toned it down quite a bit with neutrals.
AG Adriano Goldschmied ‘Legging Ankle Jeans’ in Orange – $66.75: Hanna has had a more opposite effect from Aria. She used to wear girly blazers and skirts all the time. In season 5, I loved that she’d wear a romantic, soft look in one episode and a edgy, fun look in the next episode.
Brooks Brothers ‘Saxxon Wool Argyle Cardigan’ – no longer available: Spencer’s style has probably changed the least. Her style has always been preppy, and I could see her wearing this cardigan now. It has Spencer written all over it. I also loved the oxfords she wore with this outfit.
