Also, here’s Maya vest from the episode, which I really liked because it’s showing that Maya is back to her old self. Thanks to WornOnTV for the photo and details for a cheaper version of the denim vest. Riley’s sun sweater is also classic for her.
It’s National Lipstick Day, and I got these lipsticks today at Rite Aid for 99 cents each. They’re from wet n wild, one of my favorite makeup brands, and the shades are from left to right: Blind Date, Cherry Frost and Black Orchid. I’m excited to try these colors out. Hope you liked this quick post.
This was a super easy recipe, where you can throw in a sliced banana, some peanut butter, milk and ice and then just blend it all up. I also added a couple of drops of almond essence for a more nutty flavor. It’s great right before a workout or to jump-start your day.
I hope you liked this quick post. I like doing these little food posts because they’re so easy to make. 🙂
The Men Tell All was on a Tuesday this season, and honestly, nothing crazy happened. It was an underwhelming episode, but we did get some good moments. Here were some highlights from the episode.
Chad was great television. Jojo was right. He loves that the episode focused on him for a good portion of the show. I mean, he got his own entrance and that staged scene with him in the trailer. He got his own meat platter. The thing is that I love Chad’s personality sometimes. He just never takes himself seriously, which is hilarious. His “Thank you Wells. I love you,” was so funny. Love him or hate him, he was a pretty funny dude.
Evan looked ridiculous when Chad was right about the shirt pulling video. Honestly, it was about time someone call out Alex and Evan for instigating Chad all of the time. It was way more annoying than anything Chad ever did. Alex picking on Derek was one of the pettiest things I’ve seen all season.
Luke was set up perfectly to be the next bachelor. It’s between Luke and Chase, but I think Luke seems to be an audience favorite.
Chase confronting Jojo was so sweet. Man, if I was on the show, I’d have Chase, Luke, Wells and James in my final four and would probably choose Chase.XD There were some great guys this season overall.
That being said, there were several guys that irritated me including Evan, Alex, Grant and a very attention seeking Santa.
The bloopers were pretty funny as always, but I wanted more.
We got a sneak peek of Bachelor in Paradise. Amanda and Nick get together, which I’m stoked about. Chad and Lace look to be a total mess. Daniel is back with his buddy Chad. Grant looked like a douche. Caila and Jared get together. And let’s talk about Ashley and Wells. I’m already in love with this pairing because she seems to finally be over Jared. I’ve always liked Ashley and hope she finds someone.
Callie’s yellow top is super pretty. She’s been rocking some boxy crop tops while Mariana has been going back and forth. Her ruffled top is super flirty and playful, while her cardigan and sweater combo earlier was very preppy.
Thanks to WornOnTV for their photos and for having the details for the outfits. Unfortunately, Callie’s top is sold out, so I left a link to a similar top that I found online.
Oh Jojo. As soon as she sent home Luke, I was so devastated. But then, I was like, well she has Chase at least. But nope, she sent him packing too.
First, let me say that I know it’s Jojo’s relationships. I’m going to be a little critical of her in this recap but I’m basing it all off the edit we as an audience are getting. I love Jojo, and there’s a reason she was chosen as The Bachelorette, and she’s doing a great job most of the time. Anyway, here’s my review on each guy.
Jordan: Jojo has herself in a situation. Her date with Jordan really made me nervous. She has so many reservations about him, which isn’t good. And then she doesn’t really get the answers she wants so she continues to question him. I’m nervous about Jordan because he says these things that instantly make me not trust him. Maybe it’s the edit we’re getting but I don’t get good vibes from him.
Robby: Although Robby says he’s in love with Jojo, I don’t think he is necessarily. I mean, he said he loved her on the first date, and yet, Jojo seems to most reassured by him. I don’t know. Maybe I’m just cynical, but the things he says makes me roll my eyes. When he says he doesn’t have to dream about her, he gets to dream next to her, I was cringing. It seems like Jordan is the one she wants, but Robby is like her safe choice.
Chase: All season, I’ve been swooning over Chase, and my friends ask me why because he seems so boring. But after this episode, I’m 100% standing by my love for him. To me, he’s the only one saying things to Jojo that I believe. He has been so guarded so when he does let it down, it’s so hard to watch Jojo reject him. I mean, they had a great date, and they seemed like a real couple when they were being playful. When he does get upset with her, I wasn’t totally put off by him getting angry. It seemed valid because Jojo seemed unsure even when they were having dinner, but she went along with it. I mean, she’s not perfect so maybe she was giving it a shot. The whole thing was messy, but I loved what he said to her when he returned. “I’m proud of you. I’m impressed by you. I adore you and I think you’re amazing.” Everything he said was amazing to me. Again, I’m biased because I’ve liked him from the beginning.
Luke: So I was kind of disappointed that Jojo said she just wasn’t sure where he stood. What the hell Jojo? There had to be some other reason she didn’t pick him because she literally blamed it all on Luke when he just told her he loved her. If it was something else, then she should of said so. Instead, he’s left feeling sorry when he never did anything wrong.
Quick Sidenote: How amazing was Jojo’s style? I wanted every look from her. That rose ceremony dress was super pretty.
Crazy episode all in all. I’m excited to see the Men Tell All, where I’ll give more of a recap.
